BattleFrog Overview

The BattleFrog Obstacle Race Series is one of the nation’s fastest growing outdoor fitness events. Expertly designed by Navy SEALs and SeaBees, BattleFrog is heralded as one of the top OCR companies by industry publications and is widely considered the most challenging Elite Points Series events in OCR. Each BattleFrog features an 8KM course and at least twenty-five (25) obstacles expertly placed into unique terrain to be challenging, fun and mentally engaging. BattleFrog features an exciting American-themed race festival with music, food, entertainment, fitness vendors and plenty of viewing areas to catch all the action. Every obstacle is completable, and BattleFrog is designed to bring together participants of all skill and experience levels.

Get The Participant Guide

BattleFrog 8K

Distance: 8K
Obstacles: 22+
Reward: Medal + T-Shirt

The BattleFrog 8K will test your fitness level and expose you to a new world of excitement.  The course runs 8K and features at least 22 military styled obstacles that will test your will to continue.

BattleFrog ELITE

Distance: 16K
Obstacles: 44+
Reward: Medal + T-Shirt

The BattleFrog ELITE builds on the 8K by doubling the distance, the number of obstacles, and the will to survive.

BattleFrog XTREME

Distance: Up to 32K+
Obstacles: up to 88+
Reward: Unique Medal + T-Shirt + Paddles for who finishes the most laps

The BattleFrox XTREME is a pleasant stroll through numerous 8K laps from their standard 8K race.  BattleFrog will award you 3 gold starts for your first 3 laps and a 4th for your 4th lap.  Silver Star for the 5th lap, and gold stars for laps 6-9.  If you can survive long enough to complete a 10th lap, you will earn yourself another silver star.

Battle Frog Dallas 2016 Race Review

It's 6 a.m. Saturday morning and everyone is excited, nervous, and anxious to try the new battle frog course at a new Venue. It's Battle Frog’s 2nd year in Dallas (actually Mesquite), the new course is at the River Ranch Texas Horse Park. The game plan is to run in the elite wave, finish in two and half hours and go back and run it again to take photos some photos. What ensued was the longest I’ve ever been on a course, 6 1/2 grueling hours.
