Beast mode? More like Savage mode! With every setup not quite like the one before, there is no telling what exactly to expect. One thing is for certain, however. You’ll have to give it your all to muscle through this Savage Rig.

If you ever had to jump a fence to escape that neighbor’s Rottweiler that always seemed to get loose, then your instincts will get you across this obstacle in no time. This is a challenge like no other, forcing you to clench your hands and feet as you traverse on a moving chainlink fence suspended over water. At least slipping off this fence is better than a nip in the ass from that Rottweiler.

The spinning action of each wheel as you attempt this obstacle will test your grip strength and body control. Try to find an even rhythm or else you will end up at the bottom of the pool below.

BattleFrog has issued another update in their ongoing race series saga. According to an email, BF will be paying all ambassador accounts in full at their "current" standings. These payments include credits for all events that have taken place. With refunds in order for future races, BF will not be issuing commissions for those events.

If you haven't heard, there is a lot of news buzzing about BattleFrog today. Many are indicating that the company is closing its doors and there seems to be a lack of official press releases. However, it is my opinion that new reporting should be based on fact and not social media buzz.

There are three elements to the Spartan Delta's endurance trifecta. Having captured one piece at the beginning of the year by surviving Norm's New Jersey Ultra Beast course, I had decided that I would do whatever it takes this year to get the others and complete the Trifecta. My Hurricane Heat would come from Boston, and the final piece of the pie would come from none other than Palmerton and the HH12HR-021, lead by Mr. Rob Barger.

Spartan issued an email yesterday detailing some advisories for the upcoming Boston Super. The weather is set to be extremely hot and the warning is well deserved. After the debacles at Palmerton, Spartan has put one foot in front of the other and started the journey towards responsibility.

If you have done one, you have done them all. I have heard that plenty of times regarding Spartan Race. The difference between Sprint races isn't really its obstacles, it is the different courses. Palmerton has its own unique characteristics, as does Ohio, and the same goes for Tuxedo. Each year I come back to this mountain expecting something new and different. Each year builds on all the positives from the previous year, with one exception. More on that later.
