King of the Mountain

Remember playing King of the Mountain in grade school? Well this is nothing like that. A five-meter high stack of huge, farm-grade hay bales, Mudders must work together to help one another reach the summit before taking in the sweet view with arms raised and heads tilted back. Oh, yeah. Then you gotta get back down.

Suggested Training

Pull-Ups (attempt to get your chest to the bar): Do 4 rounds of 6 reps.
Box Jumps: Do 3 rounds of 15 jumps.
Weighted Box Step-Up (with 10kg in each hand): Do 3 rounds of 10 reps on each leg.

Tough Mudder Tips

Get up it together. It’s a long way to the top, making camaraderie key for King of the Mountain. Be sure to help your fellow Mudders up the giant stacks along the way, and watch your footing.
