Greased Lightning

A super-slick, gravity-powered obstacle that’ll channel your inner mini Mudder, Greased Lightning is a grown-up’s Slip n’ Slide that sends Mudders flying down a greased-up tarp and into a pit of muddy water. Just sit back and enjoy the slide.

Suggested Training

Mental:
Throw a tarp in your yard and put a sprinkler on it. Jog lightly towards the tarp to gain momentum and slide gingerly across.

Physical:
Sprints – Sprint 100 meters. Rest 1 minute. Repeat 6 times.
Plank series – Beginning on elbows, alternating lifting legs and arms, one at a time, for 30 seconds each. After each set of 4, rest for 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
Hollow rocks – Rock for 30 seconds then rest for 30 seconds. Repeat 4 times.

Tough Mudder Tips

Tips: Don’t overthink this one. Pop onto your butt, give yourself a shove, and enjoy the ride.
