Hold Your Wood 2.0

What was once a tiresome trudge with a log on your shoulder is now a 4 to 8 Mudder test of timber-toting, troubleshooting teamwork. For a stretch of course, Mudders must band together and carry a massive log over, under and through walls while ensuring no Mudder gets left behind.

Suggested Training

Mental:
Chop down a tree with a couple of friends. Attempt to navigate the tree out of the woods, horizontally.

Physical:
Squats – Perform 15 reps. Rest for 1 minute. Repeat for 3 rounds.
Curls – Perform 20. Rest for 90 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
Thrusters – Complete 15 reps. Rest for 3 minutes. Repeat 3 times.

Tough Mudder Tips

You’re all in this one together, whether you came with a team or not. Grab a group of friendly Mudders (we’re all friendly, so don’t worry), pick a log, and let the smartest teammate lead the charge. This one’s a puzzle, so think ahead before you start chucking your log over, under, and through the walls. Use your heads and take your time. It’s not a race, it’s a challenge.
